ABES invites associates to participate in the meeting on the 27th

The National IoT Plan, a BNDES project with the participation of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications (MCTIC), is finalizing the stages of diagnosis, selection and deepening of actions to overcome horizontal issues in Brazil, such as financing , digital security, privacy and human resources, in addition to selecting the verticals that will be prioritized.

At the same time, companies and development and research bodies continue to place new technologies in the world market, in hardware, software and telecommunications, focused on the IoT. And your company? How are you preparing and seeking to establish partnerships? Increasingly, the global scenario shows that it is time to identify new opportunities and potential strategic trading partners.

In view of this promising situation, ABES invites you to the meeting of the IoT Committee, which will take place on June 27, at 8:30 am at Hotel Bourbon, Avenida Ibirapuera, 2.927, Sala Macuco.

The group is coordinated by the CEO of Taggen Soluções em IoT and Sawluz Informática, Werter Padilha, who is also a member of the Advisory Board of the National IoT Plan.

The goal is to stimulate dialogue on different subjects, promote synergies between associates and debate the impacts of the plan to come. To confirm your presence, write to carlos.sacco@abes.org.br or contact the Relationship Center (11) 2161-2833, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

challenges and opportunities

Research conducted by HPE with 3,100 business and information technology professionals in 20 countries shows that expectations with the IoT are very high. On the other hand, study participants highlighted that technologies are really relevant to increase business efficiency, promote innovation and increase profitability, with 88% of respondents claiming to have already achieved a return on investment.

One of the key challenges in deploying IoT solutions is efficiently collecting and transporting data from devices to the cloud. Issues such as poor Internet connectivity, high cost of traffic and data connection, integration of legacy equipment, security, remote management and the need for local decision making can increase the complexity and cost of deploying and operating a solution. of IoT making its deployment unfeasible. There are software tools, hardware functionality and reference architectures that can be used to minimize all these problems, enabling the deployment and use of IoT solutions. We intend to present these problems and discuss solutions to enable the implementation of IoT solutions that meet market needs.
