Suggestions can be submitted until May 22
Those interested in participating in the public consultation on the contracting of Cloud Computing services by the federal government can send their contributions until next Monday (22). The Ministry of Planning, Development and Management (MP) made the Term of Reference for the process available on the Social Participation Portal (Participate.br🇧🇷 The future tender will meet the demand of more than 200 bodies that are part of the Information Technology Resources Administration System (SISP).
“After the restructuring process of the ministry by the Decree No. 9,035, we decided to unify the two Cloud Computing service acquisition processes that were in progress. The term of reference in consultation will serve both for the SISP bodies and for the MP itself”, explains the Secretary of Information Technology, Marcelo Pagotti.
The purpose of the bidding will be to hire a specialized company to provide on-demand cloud computing services, including development, maintenance and continued supply of infrastructure as a service (IAAS) and platform as a service (PAAS) resources.
In March of this year, the Secretariat for Information and Communication Technology (SETIC) had already carried out a public consultation on contracting Cloud Computing. “All contributions received were analyzed by the contracting team and those that were accepted are already reflected in this new Term of Reference. The cooperation and participation of all in the public consultation will be essential for the conclusion of this process”, says Pagotti.
