Planning debates adoption of the model with SISP bodies

Research by the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management (MP) reveals that only 25 bodies of the Information Technology Resource Management System (SISP) use cloud computing outside their facilities. The information was released during the 4th meeting of the SISP Coordination Commission (CC-SISP), held on April 29 at the Ministry of Justice (MJ). 136 organs that are part of the system participated in the research.

Among the advantages of cloud computing are the reduction of costs and better service to the citizen. According to the Secretary of Information Technology of the MP, Cristiano Heckert, there are movements for the adoption of the model worldwide.

“We are also studying the Brazilian government, as we know that the solution to our infrastructure problems will not be solved with isolated investments by each agency. We need to share the use of infrastructure and also seek cloud solutions, together with public and private providers”, he says. Check out the full survey here.
