The segment and identification with the business also influence choice
 
The third edition of the Trainee do Futuro survey, released on April 15, in São Paulo (SP), identified that the offer of a career plan was the main reason that led young people to choose the Technology segment – 64% of respondents . Conducted by consulting firms Across and Seja Trainee, the study interviewed 591 trainees aged between 21 and 30, from 21 states and hired by 66 companies from different sectors, including Technology.
 
In addition to the career plan, the segment (55%) and identification with the business cause (45%) are the other factors that most impacted the choice of the current company. “Despite being a more dynamic segment, trainees see the possibility of making a career in the area and in an accelerated way”, explains Kleber Piedade, director of Seja Trainee.
 
When asked about the reasons for starting their career as a trainee, the accelerated career development again appeared as a highlight: the factor was pointed out by 80% of the interviewees. “Companies have structured their programs to allow trainees to develop their skills, have the accelerated movement they want and prepare to be the future leaders of the organization”, says Kiko Campos, CEO of Across.
