The questionnaire can be accessed until the 15th of July
The National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI updated, in 2017, the procedures for software registration, a procedure that accelerated and reduced the cost of obtaining the registration of programs. In view of the new practices and deadlines, INPI wants to focus, in 2019, on the dissemination of this service and, at the same time, map the use of intellectual property by the Brazilian software market.
Therefore, ABES is supporting the initiative and invites its members to respond to a simplified electronic questionnaire, which aims to assess participants' knowledge about software registration, which can be accessed until July 15th through the link: http://epesquisa.inpi.gov.br/index.php/347642/lang-pt-BR.
“After this initial research, we intend to prepare a diagnosis with the main actions until 2020. A debate is also planned at the INPI headquarters, in the 2nd semester, and lectures in some capitals”, informs Rachel do Monte Bottrel, responsible for the Coordination of Articulation and Promotion of IP and Innovation (COART) and General Coordination of Dissemination for Innovation (CGDI) of INPI.
