An area of 12 thousand square meters is already home to 21 companies dedicated to innovation in information technology, telecommunications, environmental design, aerospace, defense and health.

The Technological Park – São José dos Campos inaugurated, on March 28, the Business Center II, intended to house technology-based companies that carry out Research, Development and Innovation (R,D&I) activities.
 
With a total area of 12 thousand square meters, spread over two floors, the new Business Center already has 21 companies installed and is located in the core of the Technological Park – it has the capacity to house up to 50 enterprises. Its construction is the result of a partnership between the Federal, State and Municipal governments and the Technological Park, which invested approximately R$ 18 million in the work.
 
The companies were selected through a public notice, launched by the Technological Park in 2013, and are from the IT, telecommunication, environment design, aerospace, defense and health segments. The space also includes a support services center for companies and an area for the installation of multi-user laboratories. With the new Business Center, the Technological Park triples the area destined to house new technology-based enterprises, reaching 18 thousand square meters.

Installed in one of the most important technological centers in Brazil, the Technological Park – São José dos Campos aims to foster the emergence, growth and consolidation of innovative companies, operating in segments of high technological density. In full operation since 2009, it was the first to receive definitive accreditation by the São Paulo Technological Parks System and the volume of investments totals R$ 1.83 billion – R$ 1.37 billion originating from the private sector and R$ 460 million from the public authorities, in the federal, state and municipal levels. Since 2010, the Park has been operating the Business Center I. In its 6 thousand square meters, 25 business ventures are installed, which develop R,D&I activities in segments such as information technology, aeronautics, the oil and gas chain, health, chemical and aerospace, among others.
