Oxigênio Acceleradora has open enrollment for the new round of its selection process for startups. Until November 9th, entrepreneurs from all over Brazil will be able to sign up to participate in the company's 3rd Acceleration Cycle. To compete for the opportunity, the startup must already have an MVP, that is, a product and/or prototype, be in an intermediate stage of development and have synergy with one of the markets in which Porto Seguro operates.

“Since we started the first enrollment cycle, in September 2015, we have had a large number of highly qualified startups registered, and interest has been continuously increasing, as well as the development opportunity we offer to entrepreneurs”, says Italo Flammia, director of Accelerator Oxygen. “Our goal is to promote a rich interaction between the ecosystem of entrepreneurs and the markets that seek innovation from startups, so we support solutions so that solutions are improved and development is increasing”.

“Since we started the first application cycle, in September 2015, we have had a large number of highly qualified startups that participated in this process, and interest has been increasing with each cycle, given the excellent development opportunity we offer to entrepreneurs”, he says. Italo Flammia, director of Oxygen Accelerator. “Our objective is to promote a rich interaction between entrepreneurs and business managers at Porto Seguro, thus offering all the installed knowledge to startups, as well as access to the markets in which we operate”.

Of the five to seven companies selected, each will receive an investment of US$50 thousand in cash, in addition to US$100 thousand in smart money, applied in indirect investments, in the form of benefits and resources for entrepreneurs.

During the first three months of acceleration, entrepreneurs will have mentoring sessions, lectures and workshops on various topics related to Porto Seguro's business. After this period, startups have the option to complete the acceleration process at the Plug and Play Tech Center, an accelerator located in Silicon Valley, in the United States, after the projects have matured and the team of mentors evaluated.

The Oxigênio acceleration program will start on February 13, 2017, at the company's headquarters located at Rua Conselheiro Nébias, in the Campos Elíseos neighborhood, in São Paulo, with a duration of six months. Entrepreneurs interested in submitting their projects can do so through the Oxigênio website (www.oxigenioacceleradora.com.br).
