Oracle announced a new line of offerings so that organizations can easily move to the cloud and eliminate some of the biggest obstacles that present themselves when adopting cloud services. These services offer CIOs (Chief Information Officer) new options in terms of enterprise software implementation and a natural way to easily migrate business-critical applications from the website to the cloud.

As organizations look to migrate their enterprise workloads to the public cloud, many are constrained by business issues, legislation and regulatory requirements that can impede technology adoption. Therefore, Oracle aims to facilitate this transition for companies of all segments, so that they finally enjoy the benefits of performance, cost and innovation and can use Oracle Public Cloud Services wherever they want – in the Oracle Cloud or in their own datacenter.

“We are committed to helping our customers move to the cloud and accelerate their innovation, drive growth towards digital transformation,” said Thomas Kurian, president of Oracle.

Oracle Cloud at Customer brings together all the benefits of the cloud – agility, simplicity, performance, elastic scalability and a price per subscription – in the datacenter of choice for companies. Because the software works with Oracle Cloud, customers can use it for a variety of use cases, including disaster recovery, elastic bursting, dev/test (development and proofing environment), lift-and workload migration model -shift and a single API and command string toolkit for DevOps. Additionally, as it is a fully managed offering by Oracle, customers get the same experience and the latest innovations and benefits using it in their data center as they do in the Oracle Cloud.
