The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and UN Women encourage men and women working in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector to submit nominations by 31 July. Applications are open for the annual Gender Equality and Integration in Technology (GEM-Tech) award, a global award that recognizes outstanding contributions by women and men to unlocking the potential of information and communication technologies (ICT) in promoting gender equality. gender. The winners will be selected by a committee of experts from the ITU, UN Women and the 2014 GEM-Tech winners.
