Theme will be addressed at Abes Software Conference 2016

In 2014, the Gartner Group made a study on the IT market and created the concept of Bimodal IT, that is, it is a recent definition that still requires many discussions and case sharing to be understood and put into practice. With this in mind, ABES invited Reginaldo José Schollemberg, founding partner and director of BXT - Business Xtreme Technologies, to speak about TI Bimodal at ABES SOFTWARE CONFERENCE 2016, which takes place on September 15, 2016, in São Paulo. The businessman has 32 years dedicated to the Information Technology area and seeks to challenge his clients in the implementation of new technologies and concepts, always aiming to improve business in relation to the market.

Schollemberg explains that “TI Bimodal consists of having two teams working, one focusing on maintaining the business and the other focusing on innovating the Business and, thus, perpetuating the company's life in the market through the competitive advantages that this model will generate for your end customers. It is estimated that by 2017, 75% of companies will have the Bimodal IT implemented ”.

The presentation will highlight several points of reflection, among them: 1) will it be that in the process called industry 4.0, where the performance of an agile and innovative IT is essential, it will not be the time to create the era of IT 4.0, automating as much as possible the process of the two TI Bimodal teams? 2) Will the Bimodal IT last a long time or will we already have to adapt to a Trimodal IT?

According to Schollemberg, it will be necessary to implement synergistic processes between the two teams of TI BIMODAL, as well as procedures that promote the synchronization of the transfer of knowledge between them, leaving them prepared for the challenges of innovation, evolution and continuous improvement. “However, the biggest change is the adaptation of companies, so that they can work with an Experimental IT, which will always be at the crest of the technological wave, having an effective area of research and experimentation within the business. At this point, IT will have to reinvent itself, in order to have agility and focus on innovation ”, he concludes.
