Quickmed helps patients find empty hospitals

O quickmed (www.quickmed.com.br) was designed to optimize people's time and encourage hospitals to provide more efficient care Developed by Fernando Mascarenhas, Bruno Barbosa and Thiago Naves, the platform is in the implementation and registration phase of hospitals. But residents of capitals in the Southeast region can now use the tool, which is expected to reach all capitals in Brazil by 2015.

The application, derived from the Quicksolutions line, works as follows: the person who wants to go to an emergency and urgent care unit (whether public or private) can search on the Quickmed platform which hospital is most empty. As soon as the user arrives at the place, he can also update the data informing the other employees about the capacity of the house.

As the application works collaboratively, any user will be able to inform the situation of hospital care. In addition, if the person realizes that a health unit is not on the platform, they can register themselves. To collaborate, just inform the personal email at the time of the evaluation. “For now, the system is available on the website www.quickmed.com.br, which can be accessed from both mobile devices and computers. But the idea is that by Christmas of this year it will also be available as an application for download on IOS and Android systems for free”, explains Thiago Naves.

Application offers the user the connected car technology

A success during the São Paulo International Auto Show, the new version of Carrorama, which will be available to users in early 2015, offers the user the possibility of having a connected car. The application will allow you to use your smartphone as an on-board computer in the palm of your hand. The information will be obtained through the OBD (On-Board Diagnostic) that will connect with the car by technology Bluetooth, not needing a Wi-Fi or broadband connection to capture data in real time.

When the vehicle driver enters the internet access area, the data will be automatically updated. In addition, unlike other applications that only read the raw information provided by the OBD, the differential presented by Carrorama is the interpretation of this data in a friendly way, offering a new experience to the user.

With the new version of Carrorama it is possible to have a real-time diagnosis of your vehicle, with information about engine speed, speed, water temperature, battery voltage, fuel tank level, percentage of ethanol in the tank, chassis number , throttle position. Access to data varies according to the information provided by each manufacturer and vehicle model.
