Implemented by Prodesp, State, Intragov V will reduce communications costs

 

Intragov, a unified infrastructure for data communication and services developed by Prodesp for the Government of the State of São Paulo, reached its fifth version. The project has been implemented since March 1st and aims to facilitate communication between government agencies and provide savings for public coffers.
 
According to the president of Prodesp, André Arruda, the project is the backbone of the communications of the Government of São Paulo. “It expands the level of monitoring, optimizing the monitoring of internet access traffic in the State, bringing savings of R$ 386 million for the next five years”, explains Arruda.
 
Telefônica Brasil SA is responsible for implementing the network. The monthly cost is R$ 8.17 million, which represents a reduction of 44.11% in relation to the values practiced in the Intragov IV Contract.
 
Prodesp
Prodesp is the Information Technology company of the Government of the State of São Paulo. Created in 1969, it is also responsible for the management and operation of the Poupatempo and AcessaSP programs.
