Free registrations for Batch#16 until October 5th
Make room for good ideas, to grow and become successful businesses. This is one of the objectives of the Nexus - innovation hub of the São José dos Campos Technological Park, which opens vacancies for new startups. Registration for Batch#16 is free and open until October 5, 2020.
A differential of this selection is the possibility for the candidate to register even if he / she has not yet registered a CNPJ. Proposals can come from any city and all the information is in this link.
The entire selection process will be done remotely, through online platforms.
Connection
Nexus is an environment for connecting startups, small, medium and large companies, investors and educational institutions, with acceleration and incubation programs that accompany startups from the ideation phase to scale, and programs that stimulate open innovation and connection between the ecosystem.
"Our program has its own methodology and is focused on the development and strengthening of the region's innovation ecosystem, joining forces and positioning São José as an entrepreneurial city, ready to receive new startups", explains Alexandre Barros, manager of entrepreneurship and innovation at PqTec .
Among other initiatives, Nexus promotes a connection between its entrepreneurs and the market. This is the case of Nexus Corp, a Nexus program created to connect startups and technology-based companies to large companies and support open innovation actions. Recently, a partnership was established with eight hubs from all over the country to facilitate open innovation processes.
Nexus is also a maintainer of the Brazilian Startup Association (ABStartups), which gives its startups access to a package of more than 40 free benefits. There are also packages with extra benefits, which can be hired for more affordable prices by startups linked to Nexus.

They can participate in Batch#16 from entrepreneurs with ideas still on paper to startups already established. Candidates will go through two stages of evaluation - business model and execution power - as well as workshops and pitch. O final result will be released on June 19 in all channels of the Technological Park.
While the incubation is focused on young technology-based companies, the acceleration is focused on digital startups, young companies with great potential for rapid growth. Thus, the incubation program lasts up to two years and the acceleration program lasts up to one year.
Nexus is aimed at stimulating and creating new ventures based on innovative businesses with high added value and with a technological base, which operate preferentially in the following areas: aerospace, automotive, agrotechnology, electronics, energy, fintech, information technology, internet of things, industry 4.0, environment, smart cities and health.
"Being in a technological park is a great differential for all profiles of startups, due to the network of partners, mentors and investors, in addition to the universities installed here", analyzes Barros.
