The event will take place on September 18, at WTC Events, in São Paulo, and will count on national and international experts to discuss the main trends in innovation and entrepreneurship in the ICT sector.
 
On September 18, ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) holds its annual conference, "ABES Software Conference 2017", which takes place from 8:30 am to 6 pm at WTC Events, in São Paulo (Av. Das Nações Unidas, 12.551) . With the theme "Emerging Business: from Blockchain to IoT", the event brings together 21 national and international experts from the ICT sector, to discuss the business transformations caused by emerging technologies, in addition to discussing public policies and opportunities to increase productivity and the quality of companies in the software and services sector in Brazil.
 
According to the president of ABES, Francisco Camargo, "The event addresses the main issues in an era of change that is reaching the world and what Brazil must do to take advantage of the new businesses that are emerging".  
Throughout the day, the event will feature the presentation of the keynote speaker and five panels that discuss the most relevant topics of the moment for the area, all of which are presented by important experts and entrepreneurs.
 
The Digital Government Panel will receive public figures such as Marcelo Pagotti (Secretary of Information Technology of the Ministry of Planning), Maximiliano Martinhão (Secretary of Informatics Policy at MCTIC) and Daniel Annenberg (Secretary of Innovation and Technology - PMSP).
 
In the second panel, Financial Innovation, the stage is taken by entrepreneurs such as the Frenchman Abdallah Hitti (COO of HIPAY) and Carlos Fagundes (CEO of IntegralTrust), who deal with trends in financial innovation and means of payment.
 
BLOCKCHAIN AND IOT SECURITY
 
World authority, Bitcoin pioneer and evangelist, the keynote speaker at the conference, André de Castro (CEO of Blockchain of Things company), takes the stage to address Blockchain and the critical point of the Internet of Connected Objects, security.
 
Technology executive, Bitcoin and blockchain authority, André de Castro, American, of Brazilian origin, has been actively engaged in the development of Bitcoin since its creation in 2010.
 
"Entrepreneurship, innovation and business opportunity" opens the afternoon with Prof. Dr. Eduardo Costa (Director of the Most Human, Smart and Sustainable Cities Laboratory), Irecê Kauss (Superintendent of BNDES), Rafael Moreira (Special Advisor for Industry 4.0 and Director of Innovative Technologies at MDIC) and Jonny Doin (CEO of Grid Vortex ).
 
Panel 4 deals with an invisible asset, but essential for the development of any country, "Legal Security" and brings Dr. Manoel Antônio dos Santos (Legal Director ABES), Dr. Thiago Luís Sombra (Partner at the Mattos Filho Firm, Specialist in Corporate Ethics) and Dr. Marlos Melek (Labor Judge and member of the final drafting committee of the Labor Reform).
 
The debate on "Present and Future of the ICT sector" ends the conference panels with Francisco Camargo (President of ABES), Cristina de Luca (journalist for Rádio CBN) and Luciano Ramos (analyst at International Data Corporation).
