The acquisition of new Cisco brand Switch equipment and the respective licenses and warranties were negotiated by the Japanese multinational with the aim of modernizing and expanding the LAN access data network capacity of Sefaz-SP

THE NEC just signed with the Secretariat of Finance and Planning of the State of São Paulo a contract for the supply of the solution consisting of five Cisco brand Switch models, as well as their respective licenses and warranties, which will be installed in the capital of São Paulo (4) and in the city of Campinas (1), totaling 222 units. With this acquisition, in addition to expanding and modernizing its LAN access data network, Sefaz-SP also made this investment with the aim of making it ready for the arrival of new technologies that are expected to emerge in the coming years.

“We are a traditional partner of Sefaz-SP when it comes to supplying cutting-edge systems for its technology park, and this is the third contract we have signed with the agency in three years. In this context, one of our differentiators is our consultative approach to our clients’ networks, with extensive experience in integrating complex networks. Furthermore, this agreement confirms the important position that negotiations with the public sector, at different levels, occupy in our strategic plan,” he says. José Renato Gonçalves, president of NEC in Brazil.
