By implementing advanced Business Intelligence practices, Natural One has achieved an estimated savings of R$3.3 million over the past six years. These figures represent significant gains resulting from greater operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Data Lake and Qlik: the basis of evolution
Natural One's journey towards a data-driven culture had as a relevant milestone the implementation of its data lake, with the use of the Snowflake platform. This centralized data repository not only improved communication between the company's databases but also ensured greater storage security and eliminated downtime in the ERP system, which was previously occasionally overloaded by the simultaneous use of on-premises systems.

Currently, the Qlik extracts data directly from the raw layer of the data lake. Dedicated extractors transform this raw data into tables, applying business rules to generate QVDs (QlikView Data). These optimized files feed the 90 dashboards available for use and others 25 administrative dashboardsThe most accessed dashboards are those that provide information on revenue, inventory, and portfolio, totaling about 20 that are essential for monitoring volume and order goals. To achieve this, Natural One uses solutions Qlik Talend for data integration, orchestration and monitoring, and Qlik Cloud for viewing.

Since 2019, when the company took its first steps into business intelligence, there has been a increase of 70% in the scope of accesses. The executive highlights two projects recently delivered to the areas as current milestones in Natural One's trajectory as a data-driven company: PED+, for the commercial area, and the G&G Project – People and Management, for the HR sector.
PED+ Project: Business Data in the Palm of Your Hand
O PED+ Project is a clear example of how data intelligence empowers Natural One's sales team. Through a mobile app, salespeople have access to Essential KPIs such as revenue versus target and inventory. This data is tracked individually and personalized, allowing each salesperson to view their performance against the target, broken down by channel, customer, line (refrigerated or ambient), category (package size), and flavor, down to the minimum SKU granularity.
The goal has been to provide updated data several times a day to field salespeople, enabling them to be more assertive in their strategies with each customer and knowing what the company has in stock, guided by the sales targets for each SKU.
Data for people management and improving the organizational climate
O People & Management Project (G&G) Qlik arose from the need to decentralize and streamline people management indicators. Before implementation, data such as turnover, absenteeism, overtime, time bank, and costs were made available monthly via Excel reports, a time-consuming and department-specific process.
“We studied the end-to-end processes and developed an API that, in partnership with the payroll company, brings monthly data directly to the Data Lake. From this repository, the information is consumed and visualized in Qlik.“, explains Ana Laura.
One of the great differences of this project is the security in the circulation of sensitive data, such as payroll costs, which come directly from the bucket from the partner to the data lake and from there to Qlik, automatically and securely. Furthermore, G&G was the first project with section access lock, providing a fully customized data visualization per manager.
“This empowers managers to independently monitor their teams' metrics, enabling them to navigate with greater efficiency and purpose. The project also brought greater awareness of team well-being (absences, hours worked, sick leave, overtime) and tighter control of costs per employee, resulting in better budget management and allocation.“, adds Ana Laura.
