In partnership with CESAR, the program seeks to encourage innovative companies in market segments that are connected to Natura's business

To offer increasingly agile solutions to the market, Natura joined CESAR, a private innovation center that creates products, services and businesses with Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), to launch a startup acceleration program. The initiative is part of the Natura Startups Program, launched in 2016, with the purpose of fostering an innovative culture within Natura and encouraging entrepreneurship and the startups ecosystem involved with the company. Entries will be received on the portal www.natura.com.br/startups  until May 31st.

The objective of the Acceleration Program is to stimulate the growth of startups in market segments of interest to Natura, contributing to accelerate innovation and overcome challenges within the company, in a relationship of collaboration and mutual encouragement. In the public call for participation, startups will have to propose solutions to Natura's strategic challenges, already mapped for the program and communicated on the portal.

“Natura believes that it is essential to remain at the technological forefront, with disruptive innovation that brings transformations to the business, such as the possibility of providing instruments for our Beauty Consultants to recommend products in an increasingly personalized way, through the use of data, a of the challenges we are proposing for companies participating in the Program's selection process ”, explains Erasmo Toledo, Natura's vice president of direct sales.

The pre-selected startups will go through an Investment Committee, carried out in partnership with CESAR.Labs - CESAR's company acceleration program -, in which the needs of the selected companies and the contribution of financial resources will be evaluated, in partnership with investors -Angel. From the signing of the contract, there will be nine months of acceleration, in which Natura will contribute to the development of these companies through the proposition of challenges, support and execution of the program and mentoring with executives throughout the duration of the program. At the end of the cycle, startups may be hired by Natura as partners.
