After announcing diversity as one of the central themes, and choosing to honor “The Woman in Technology”, MyInova Summit 2019 presents some of the main names that will be present in its 8th edition, which takes place in Curitiba on August 21st and 22nd. Organized by Assespro-PR together with the Assespro Federation, and in this 8th edition promoted in partnership with Sebrae-PR, MyInova Summit is one of the main meetings of the IT sector in Brazil that brings together executives using technology and professionals working in the market. from various parts of the country and even the world.
 
And as a way to demonstrate the strength of women in the sector, in this edition, 18 women of the 29 confirmed participants will be on the panel. “This is the first time in Brazil that an IT event of this proportion has as its central theme women in technology and brings prominent women in this universe to share their successful experiences”, says Adriano Krzyuy, president of Assespro-PR.
 
Regina Arns will be one of them. As with many women who have double or triple shifts, she puts her family side by side with her profession and defines herself as: “Mother of Fernanda and Andressa, grandmother of Theo and Arthur, mother-in-law of Anderson and Leonardo, Married 32 years to Gilberto. Economist, specializing in strategic planning from FAE, master in education/entrepreneurship from PUC-PR, president and one of the founders of Espaço Mulheres Executivos – MEX Brasil and executive director of Lapidus”.
 
For female empowerment: Regina Arns has a master's degree in entrepreneurship and co-founder of Espaço Mulheres Executivos – MEX Brasil, which encourages the participation of women in the corporate environment.
 
At the beginning of her career, at the age of 21, Regina worked at the former Bamerindus on projects for importing equipment and implementing CCQ (Quality Control Circle). At just 25 years old, she was invited to join the team of economics professors at FAE, where she remained for 15 years, also acting as coordinator of the Microeconomics area.
 
Among other things, she participated in the Gazeta Mercantil Council for the “The Most Influential Women in Brazil” award and was part of the elaboration and general coordination of the book Mulheres: Elas Fazem História – Professional Experiences, Business Practices and Reflections on Female Leadership, which sold 10,000 units in its 1st. Edition.
 
On August 22, at the MyInova Summit, Regina Arns will add to her list of accomplishments as a speaker on the theme “Gender Diversity and the Empowerment of Women”. It will address the impacts of differences in the competencies of women and men in leadership positions, seeking to answer questions such as "Do companies with women in leadership have better results?", "Does networking matter?"
 
The event will also feature foreign speakers, such as: Robert Janssen (California, USA), CEO of OBr.Global and vice president of International Relations at Assespro Nacional; Elizabeth Binning (Texas, USA), Director of Digital Transformation at GrowthWheel; and Michael Hamman, co-founder of Agile Leadership Institute, coach and professor, who will contribute to the event's other theme: Business Agility.
