ABES partnership in the Brazil Movement, Digital Country, the National Association of Digital Certification - ANCD officially inaugurated, in an event held in São Paulo, on 02/20, its work agenda for the year 2020.

The event was attended by Andriei Gutierrez, coordinator of the Regulatory Committee of ABES and the movement, who could talk about the initiative to the participants. “I highlighted that our objective is to mobilize people and organizations interested in thinking about Brazil from the perspective of the digital — and intelligent — transformation of our country. I also talked about the importance of associativism for the technology area and mentioned some digital government actions that are transforming Brazil”, informed Andriei.

The first major novelty of the ANCD was the disclosure of the association's new brand and visual identity. The innovation aims to strengthen and update the image of the ANCD, which this year will complete 6 years of operation in favor of the digital certification market in the standard of the Brazilian Public Key Infrastructure — ICP-Brasil. At this moment, the ANCD seeks, in addition to continuing to position itself as an important representative of the certification sector in the various spheres of the public and private sectors, to place itself, more actively, as an association of the technology sector, modern and active in the most important debates that impact the sector.

The ANCD also released its “Legislative Agenda 2020–2021”. The document brings together the proposals that are in the National Congress and can directly impact the digital certification sector. The agenda is divided into priority projects, supplementary projects and ICP-Brasil numbers. “The Legislative Agenda is an important document for the sector. In addition to pointing out the main projects, it brings the Association's vision on the themes and presents the parliamentarians involved, facilitating the reading of the actions carried out by the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies", said the executive president of the ANCD, Egon Schaden Júnior. The Legislative Agenda is available for free download in digital format from the ANCD website.

Finally, the ANCD presented the association's work plan for 2020. The expectation is for a year with great challenges, as the National Congress will debate important agendas, such as Tax and Administrative Reforms. In addition, municipal elections should move the second half of 2020. “This year we have major projects under discussion. The ANCD will seek to show that the ICP-Brasil digital certification is a fundamental tool for the full security of these modernization processes, especially when we talk about the digitalization of services”, concluded Schaden.
