Mobile and digital marketing became popular in 2016 with companies of all sizes creating an online presence and promoting services through digital channels. In addition, the facilities that the web offers consumers give strength to digital media. The result will be a 15.5% growth in online investments by 2019, according to the Global Entertainment and Media Outlook 2015-2019 study.

The prospect of growth tends to further validate Pitchwink's presence, through the MobiPronto platform, with applications for digital marketing that carry out campaigns and marketing actions, through various channels such as smart SMS, email, voice, QRCodes, videos, notifications and social networks, in an integrated way and with graphical analysis and reports. Holding with North American roots and Brazilian owners, its solution is used by companies of any size, from small stores to multinational clients. The services are distributed to customers in 42 countries, which make use of the integrated marketing resources distributed by the company.

Under the motto “Sell at a Winking”, the company works with a cloud-oriented 100% multiplatform operating system. “The flexibility of the cloud is a factor that gives it an immense advantage when managing a large volume of demands, allowing the user to dominate and manage their own environment”, said José Maurício, Solutions Architect at Brasoftware.

Brasoftware, currently Microsoft's largest partner in Brazil, helped MobiPronto migrate to Microsoft Azure and provide the scalability the company needed. The migration from the old operating system to Azure took only a weekend and, despite the agility in the process, the software transition was intense. “The transport of the database to Azure should be done in the same place where Azure would be hosted to avoid maximum latency in the process and the loss of our customers. After the data was backed up, it was uploaded to the US headquarters. Then, daily incremental backups were made which, because they are much smaller, were uploaded from the old provider in Brazil” explained Roberto Rêgo, CEO of Pitchwink.

Another challenge was making sure that the platform downtime was as little as possible with the transition, and luckily the solution was down for a very short period of time. “Our concern was, that being down meant that we were missing someone somewhere in the world, and we arrived at a downtime of just an hour and a half. As soon as it returned, the project has already gone live with thousands of users. From that moment on, we had no problems and we didn't even hear about Azure anymore internally, which means that the project is a success, since Azure is not our core business”, highlighted the CEO, alluding to the efficient functioning of the platform. .

Partnership with Brasoftware

Capturing customers organically, that is, through content publishing, pay-per-click and an affiliate program, MobiPronto already has 14,000 customers in Brazil and the resources to enter the corporate market, but for that it needed partners that were capable of being vectors in the market. “We saw in Brasoftware an ideal partner with its experience in customer service; In addition, she is responsible for another very significant percentage of Microsoft's sales in Brazil and has a long proven experience, in addition to helping us to set up a methodology capable of being replicated in Microsoft distributors in all the countries where we operate”, highlighted Roberto.

“Brasoftware has been in the market for over 30 years. The new challenge is to prepare traditional companies like ours to provide more than 450 thousand customers served by Brasoftware with new solutions that can add more results through the use of digital platforms. And without a doubt, the MobiPronto service is a solution that will add value to our customers, as mobile and digital marketing is a necessity for any company of any segment and size”, said Amanda Almeida, Marketing Director at Brasoftware. “I confess that as soon as I got to know the MobiPronto solution, the next day we started using the tool for internal marketing campaigns, as well as actions via SMS, which today have a very high impact percentage”, added the Executive.

With a focus on developing digital marketing applications, MobiPronto sought a provider to support infrastructure services. “We had a predilection for Azure because our platform was entirely developed in Microsoft products, such as Office 365, Visual Studio and SQLServer. Then we chose Brasoftware because of the careful treatment and transparency”, said the CEO.
