The Ministry of Justice launched the Application Contest to combat corruption, in partnership with the bodies that make up the National Strategy to Combat Corruption and Money Laundering (ENCCLA).
 
The contest is aimed at developers, programmers, designers, researchers, in short, people with an affinity for information technology, and who want to contribute with their knowledge in the fight against corruption, thus participating in the execution of public policies carried out through of agreements and transfers, facilitating the understanding of data related to them and the supervision of this execution in a collaborative way between the State and society.
 
Teams made up of up to 5 people may participate, and at least one female participant must compose the team. Applications will be made directly on the website http://justica.gov.br/labpi until April 14, 2016.
 
A video of up to 2 minutes explaining the project and a working prototype of the software solution for mobile device that meets the challenges proposed in the public notice must be presented:
 
a) Translation of agreement and transfer data into a language accessible to the citizen;
 
b) Possibility of selection, by the citizen, of information that impacts their daily lives;
 
c) Increase in popular participation in monitoring and inspecting the physical execution of public policies implemented through agreements and transfers;
 
d) Use, by the government, of the collective information to be generated by the solution.
 
e) Greater permeability of public management to free and collaborative development, making it more transparent and accessible.
 
During the entire registration period, a channel of communication will be opened with the participants and there will be a schedule of conversations with the organizers to clarify doubts and deepen ideas around the theme of the contest.
 
An award of R$ 10 thousand is foreseen for the three best proposals. In addition, the winning teams will also have the opportunity to improve their project at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice in Brasília, where they will have the presence of public managers linked to the management, inspection and control of agreements and transfers. The first place winner will receive an additional prize of R$ 30 thousand to develop the presented solution. The call for papers and more information are available. on here.
