THE MTECH Brazil – Portugal already has the dates and roadmap defined for the 2018 edition, seeking to reinforce the differentiated concept of an international business mission, aligned with a technological collaboration program. It is a model, based on actions that start even before the trip and continue after, in the constant search for improvements and business results. The program has the institutional support of ABES.

The first stage, with activities in Lisbon, parallel to the Web Summit, one of the main events on the European continent, will take place on November 5th and 9th. A caravan to the north of Portugal, where cities like Porto and Coimbra are located, is scheduled for the 12th to the 16th of November. Interested parties can purchase the entire package from MTECH Brazil – Portugal or just the step that is most relevant to your strategic plans. Technical visits are scheduled to companies, incubators and accelerators, research and technological development centers, universities, in addition to the presentation of specialists in the legal, tax, labor, etc. areas. Check the schedule here.

“Our main objective is to contribute so that participating companies and entities can nourish themselves with all the necessary concepts and get closer to the main actors in the Portuguese-Brazilian axis, exploring new opportunities, seeking new customers and partners, appropriating and taking advantage of an entire existing ecosystem”, says Gustavo Miguelez, co-founder and CRO of Digital Trees, the company responsible for organizing and carrying out the mission.

As a novelty in this edition, Digital Trees is working on the construction of a binational collaboration platform, which will be a tool matchmaking  and two-way, contributing to the identification of opportunities and demands that allow greater interactivity among the delegates – before and after the trip.

Miguelez emphasizes that the mission has social, commercial and technological ends. Among the participants' profiles, many want to explore opportunities abroad, market their solutions, locate representatives and even build an operations hub in Europe in Portugal. Others seek partners for the development of new products and services, including, including, participation in bilateral research and development projects, involving technological cooperation and government support.

“We are interested in creating lasting bonds, working with the right partners according to each region, vocation and objectives, giving meaning to our new mission concept and MTECH technological collaboration program”, concludes the executive.

In the 2017 edition, the organization managed to bring together a group formed in Brazil and Portugal by startups, companies already consolidated in the market and representatives of sectorial entities (public and private), in tune with the ongoing digital transformation and with the desire to evolve through by conquering new markets and sharing experiences.
