Minsait, Indra's digital transformation unit, presented a solution for public security to the market: Minsait SmartCop, a tool that promises to turn any smartphone into a secure communication system, endowed with exclusive features, such as document and record verification, biometric identification, access to confidential databases and the possibility of adding information to reports.

With this, agents can establish videoconferences and secure calls with the guarantee that they are completely confidential, for example, to contact the translation service. Furthermore, the geolocation system added to the solution allows the central to know where each police officer is, which improves their safety and facilitates the coordination of emergencies, as it becomes possible to send those closest to each location.

According to the manufacturer, the Minsait SmartCop system will speed up the preparation of reports, as it offers the possibility to scan documents and add electronic signatures and certificates that legally validate the actions carried out.

This set of functionalities improves connectivity between agents and facilitates the exchange of information, as the data sent by each police officer is analyzed from the central and integrated into a single database, capable of being accessed by all.

Finally, the system incorporates different security measures that continuously assess the risks involved in using the device to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing information in the event of loss, theft or even remotely.

The solution can be installed on mobile device operating systems and is able to connect via bluetooth with external fingerprint readers and allows the reading of electronic documents via NFC.

Contrasted experience in the field of security

Minsait Smartcop incorporates Indra's knowledge as a leading company in the security sector.
