Incubator managed by ACATE and maintained by Sebrae-SC has 11 vacancies

The MIDI Technological incubator, managed by the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) and maintained by Sebrae/SC, has just launched a call for virtual incubation and pre-incubation. The entity has already supported 79 technology-based companies and currently has 18 incubated and three pre-incubated. Entrepreneurs looking to structure and qualify their business should access the public notice available at this link and submit proposals by August 16th.

“To support the development of nascent companies, the incubation processes invest in the development and improvement of managers through training and strategic consulting” explains the general coordinator of the Technological MIDI, Gabriel Sant'Ana Palma Santos. The incubator frequently offers consultancy in the legal, accounting, administrative-financial, human resources, communication, among others.

There are six vacancies for virtual incubation, which lasts up to 30 months and focuses on product consolidation, execution of a Business Plan and entrepreneur training. In the virtual modality, the incubated companies do not physically install themselves on the premises of the incubator, but have access to all the services and benefits offered.

As for the pre-incubation, five projects will be selected. The process takes up to 12 months and seeks to validate the idea and business model based on the analysis of technical and economic feasibility, market testing, prototype and development of the partners' entrepreneurial profile. It is not necessary for the company to be formally incorporated when submitting the proposal, but the selected companies will have a period of 90 days to constitute a legal entity. The entrepreneurs of the pre-incubated will occupy a shared space proper to MIDI.

The Technological MIDI was awarded the Anprotec National Innovative Entrepreneurship Award three times: elected the best incubator in Brazil for promoting the culture of entrepreneurship in 2014; best incubator in Brazil for local and regional development in 2012; and best incubator in Brazil for the Generation and Intensive Use of Technologies in 2008.

Training
To qualify potential entrepreneurs for the presentation of proposals, the Technological MIDI incubator will promote training on August 4, from 4 pm to 6 pm, at the ACATE Innovation Center (CIA) – Primavera. One vacancy will be made available for each company interested in participating in the selection process. Applications must be made through the website: http://www.eventick.com.br/workshop-midi.
