The technology cup promoted by Microsoft encourages sports-related startup projects

Entrepreneurs and creators of startups focused on the world of sports and, mainly, football, have until September 10th to register for the Word Football Summit 2017. The global challenge organized by Microsoft seeks innovative ideas and stimulates transformative projects that can define the future of the sector.

The 2017 edition of the WFStartCup will bring together several entrepreneurs and investors from different countries to present, discuss and give visibility to original proposals aimed at football and sports initiatives that have the potential for international implementation. The seven finalist startups selected by Microsoft will have the opportunity to present their projects to large companies and potential partners during the WFStartCup 2017, which will be held in Madrid, Spain.

The Microsoft Innovation Center Curitiba, installed at the Batel headquarters of the European Center, will provide technical and business mentoring to those interested in participating in the competition. Professionals from the Innovation Center will guide participants on how to improve the proposals and adapt them to Microsoft's requirements, in addition to the step-by-step process to register the project in the Word Football Summit.
