The Azure Infra Girls program will enable students to develop cloud solution architecture on the Microsoft platform
Microsoft has opened registration for the third phase of the Azure Infra Girls program, an initiative dedicated to empowering cis and trans women to develop solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This new edition will focus on the AZ-305 certification and will run from March 10 to May 29, 2025. Registration is open until February 20 and can be done on the website: https://aka.ms/AzureInfraGirls.
The Azure Infra Girls program is organized by Microsoft's Women's pillar to promote gender inclusion and diversity in the technology industry through specialized training. To apply, candidates must identify as female (cisgender or transgender), be over 18 years old, have the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Associate certification, and be available to participate in live online classes. Classes will be taught by Microsoft employees.
In the previous two phases, more than 4,000 women were trained in cloud fundamentals and 50 received advanced training in Microsoft Azure administration, with a pass rate of 78% on the certification exams.
The third phase of the program aims to train women to become solution architects in Microsoft Azure, through training in advanced knowledge in designing and implementing cloud solutions. The course covers advanced skills in computing, networking, storage, security, monitoring, among others, essential for creating and managing hybrid and cloud solutions that follow the Azure Well-Architected Framework standards. At the end of the course, participants will be prepared to take the AZ-305 certification exam, widely recognized in the technology job market.
Students who achieve a minimum score of 80% on the assessments will be eligible for a free voucher for the AZ-305 certification exam. Additionally, the course provides a networking opportunity by allowing participants to connect with other technology professionals and Microsoft experts. Classes will be held online, which also provides greater inclusivity and flexibility to accommodate participants from different locations.
The third phase of the program, focused on the AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) certification, takes place from March 10 to May 29, 2025, with classes three times a week, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, held live online via Microsoft Teams.
