A partner of the RH Tech Platform, Meu Futuro Digital (MFD) is a movement with the purpose of transforming Brazil to become the country of the future of Work and Education through Information Technology. “The MFD emerged in 2020 from the dissatisfaction of executives in the technology market with the lack of knowledge of young people about the technology area and the career possibilities that this market offers”, explains Rubem Duek, CEO of the movement.

Meu Futuro Digital works with the network model, from connections that help to identify qualified partners to take young people from discovering the world of technology to employment, passing through mentoring and education activities.

The focus is on facing the reality of the market in which thousands of young people are looking for jobs and, on the other hand, there is a large amount of open positions in the ICT sector. “Our mission is to generate agility and scale in the process of attracting, training and employing young people aged 16 to 24 for IT careers. The data show that it is necessary to attract more people and offer paths for training and employment”, adds Rubem. Check below the interview that the ABES Portal held with the director of the MFD.

How do you evaluate the inclusion of young people from Meu Futuro Digital in the job market?

Our great challenge is to insert young people in their first job in technology and, therefore. we create differentiated and innovative programs in the search for talents and training focused on the practical life of the world of technology. Our objective is to double the number of young graduates and employees in 2023, expanding the programs developed so far.

Discover some of the programs developed by Meu Futuro Digital:

Young Apprentice TECH: connects companies with quotas of apprentices with a training program for programming, preparing the apprentice to enter the company's technology area. From R$ 600 monthly, on average, the company finances the training program in the program and creates a resource base for its projects, complying with the quota legislation.

Hire a TECH Champion: through which the MFD selects young medalists from the Mathematics Olympics for a training program in technology. The starting point is that these young people have great aptitude for careers in this area and, according to the MFD, the first group showed promise with excellent results in companies.

TECH School: this program aims to implement Technology Centers in public schools in cities in the interior, in order to train young people to work in companies in the region.
