Mercado Envios is the unit responsible for offering freight and merchandise collection technology to sellers on the MercadoLivre.com marketplace. In the second quarter of this year alone, 20.3 million deliveries were made through Mercado Envios in the five countries where the service is offered: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Colombia. Recently, in June of this year, this business unit was expanded with the purchase of Axado, a national leader in freight management and e-commerce solutions. Mercado Livre invested R$ 26 million in this acquisition.
