The Secretariat of Trade and Services of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (SCS/MDIC) launched a set of instruments to support Brazilian exports of services.
 
According to the secretary of SCS, Humberto Ribeiro, the objective is to offer tools to help potential service exporters define the best strategies and markets. “The information can also help the government in decision-making and in the elaboration of public policies for the sector”, he explains.
 
According to data from the World Trade Organization, from 2003 to 2013, there was an increase of 150% in world exports of services. In the same period, the growth of Brazilian exports was 292%, almost double the world average.

Basic guide for exporting services – CIt contains basic guidelines on the concepts and guidelines for foreign trade in services in Brazil, explains how to carry out strategic planning for the export of services and details the mechanisms to support the export of services and intangibles.
The material also has information to support the export of services and documents necessary for export, in addition to listing institutions, such as the MDIC, that can offer support to potential exporters.
