Agreement foresees to stimulate innovation in micro and small
 
An agreement to expand federal government support for startups in the country was signed on August 29 by the Minister of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services, Marcos Pereira, and the president of Sebrae, Guilherme Afif Domingos.
 
With the signing of the agreement, the expectation is to create actions aimed at the development of startups. Among the planned actions is the creation of a management committee for the program, coordinated by the MDIC, Sebrae and other partners.
 
"We have a naturally creative and very capable people in Brazil. It's time to retain knowledge and add value to what we have at home," said the minister, who also announced changes in the profile of the Brazilian Industrial Development Agency (ABDI), so that the entity will play a greater role in supporting innovation: "We are restructuring ABDI so that it stands out in the promotion of startups. We are going from theory to practice”.
