A new report produced by Match , with the support of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES) and Agência Sabiá, offers a look at how Brazilian companies are adapting to current technological challenges. The research, which included the participation of around 70 leaders from companies of different sizes, reveals valuable insights into the level of maturity in Innovation Management in Brazil.

Report Reveals Maturity Levels in Innovation Management
According to the report, 41% of executives evaluate Innovation Management in their companies as neutral or deficient. No corporation highlighted having reached a level of excellence. Using a five-point scale, where 1 represents non-existence and 5 represents excellence, the general maturity of the innovation ecosystem in Brazil was classified as 3.7. This assessment signals a neutral to positive maturity level.

Connections and Benefits in the Innovation Ecosystem
The survey also highlights the importance of connections between different agents in the innovation ecosystem. The most active profiles, in order of frequency, are Startups, Corporations, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Universities/Technological Innovation Centers (NITs) and Government. Organizations that interact with other actors in the ecosystem already reap significant rewards, such as experience exchanges, acquisition and dissemination of knowledge, as well as valuable contacts to establish partnerships and close deals.
