Microsoft announces Mariana Hatsumura Costa as the new director of Azure, and Ricardo Wagner, as director of Modern Work and Security. 

Mariana Hatsumura joined Microsoft 10 years ago as Licensing Marketing Manager, and has accumulated solid experience in different roles within the company's Marketing, Sales and Partners areas, always with a strong commitment to cloud business development. As a leader in Modern Work and Safety, he contributed to the growth of Microsoft's business in Brazil. Prior to this role, Mariana held positions of Product Marketing Manager for Cloud and Enterprise, Channel Development Manager for Cloud, and Senior Manager of Product Marketing and Customer Success. Before joining Microsoft, the professional worked at companies such as Whirlpool, Sony and IBM and held several product marketing positions. She has a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and a postgraduate degree in Communication with the Market from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM).

Ricardo Wagner, the new Director of Modern Work and Security at Microsoft Brazil, returns to the country after a successful international experience at the Canadian subsidiary, where he worked in the Product Marketing area, helping corporate clients and small and medium-sized companies. In Canada, Ricardo pioneered a new sales movement to engage and nurture customer relationships through Accessibility, influencing important businesses, including the largest Microsoft deal closed in the country, with the Canadian Government, valued at over 1 billion of dollars. Before joining Microsoft Canada, Ricardo worked for five years at Microsoft Brazil, where he held management positions in Windows and Dynamics. Prior to Microsoft, he was at Hewlett Packard (HP) for seven years, where he worked in sales and marketing. Ricardo holds a degree in Economics from Universidade Mackenzie and holds MBAs in Marketing from ESPM and Management from FGV.
