Marcelo Pagotti, who has been working in the IT area in the federal government for more than 20 years, more specifically at Banco do Brasil, where he is a career server, is the new Secretary of Information Technology at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management.

Born in Pedreira, in the interior of São Paulo, the new secretary has a degree in Information Technology and an MBA from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He has already coordinated the acquisition and installation of devices and also the implementation of several IT projects at Banco do Brasil.

The simplification of public services for the citizen is Pagotti's main goal. “There is no need for a young person, an elderly person or a person with a disability to go to a government agency to obtain a copy of a document or a declaration,” he said. For the new secretary, access to services must be made both by mobile vehicles and by home computers or tablets.
