Logicalis, a global information and communication technology services and solutions company, has just structured its Internet of Things business unit, with the aim of strengthening its operations with technology. From now on, the area will be divided into three managements, responsible for different stages and segments of business development in IoT.
In this movement, Rafaela Mancilha, who has been with the company for eight years, was promoted to IoT manager. With three years of experience in the segment and having participated in projects in Brazil, Latin America and Europe, the executive will have the mission to act as an evangelist, working to foster the market, identify opportunities, develop use cases and act in the pre-sales process of Logicalis solutions.
Christian Maki, who until then was the leader of Logicalis' mobility offering, becomes the connectivity manager for IoT. Thus, it will be responsible for the identification and development of new connectivity technologies that enable the most diverse Internet of Things projects, regardless of the environment in which they will be implemented.
Finally, Fábio Jardim leads the IoT hardware development team. Thus, Jardim remains ahead of the creation and customization of proprietary hardware solutions, such as EUGENIO Cube and EUGENIO Gateway.
Under the leadership of Alex Paulino, recently hired as director of IoT at Logicalis, the three professionals aim to strengthen the company's performance in technology and increase the unit's revenue by delivering an integrated value proposition to customers, fully understanding their challenges and providing them with a unique and consistent experience across the region.

The company has been operating in the sector for more than five years, always supported by its own IoT platform, EUGENIO. In addition, it has already carried out several projects, such as the creation of a platform for technological services for Coopercitrus; a predictive maintenance project for Renault-Nissan; an intelligent garbage collection system in Granada, Spain; a solution for energy management for the branch network of a large bank; a technology for intelligent opening of websites for a telecommunications operator and the intelligent public lighting project for the city of Belo Horizonte, in partnership with BHIP.
