Liga Ventures - an accelerator specialized in generating business between startups and large corporations - has just opened registration for the 2nd cycle of acceleration of Liga AutoTech, an open innovation program that will prospect, select and accelerate startups together with large companies from the sectors of mobility, transport, logistics and the automobile industry. Interested startups can apply until August 27 through the website https://liga.ventures/autotech.
 
For this new round of acceleration, the vertical will also have a partnership with Webmotors – one of the most important brands in the national automotive segment, with extensive classifieds service for new and used vehicles. Mercedes-Benz, Eaton, Sascar, Ticket Log and Repom, which were already part of the initiative, will also participate in this cycle.
 
?According to Rogério Tamassia – director of Liga Ventures and one of the creators of the program – Liga AutoTech's objective is to connect large corporations to technology startups that are transforming essential sectors of the country. “Checking trends, testing multiple markets and business models together with startups is an important opportunity for the development of companies that will be able to bring innovative solutions more quickly to their segments”, explains Tamassia.
 
AutoTech League Acceleration Program
 
After registration, 5 to 10 startups will be selected for this cycle, in topics such as management and services for fleets, retail, pre and post sales, logistics, big data and analytics, telemetry, tracking and mobile payments.
 
For four months, the selected startups will undergo an acceleration program, in which they will be able to explore business opportunities with the large participating companies, mentorships with industry executives and the Liga Ventures mentor network, in addition to extensive networking with potential partners. and investors. No equity or intellectual property consideration is required from accelerated startups.
 
In addition to the acceleration program, the platform will promote events on innovation in the sector, relationship with Brazilian and international startups and the creation of a structured process to generate intelligence about the segment.
 
First cycle already brings good results
Trackage, a startup focused on monitoring solutions to reduce losses such as misplacement, violation and loss of cargo and objects for companies, is one of the highlights of the first cycle of the AutoTech League.
 
In less than 2 months of the program, with support and mentorship from Liga Ventures and partner corporations, the startup is already developing a large project together with one of the large participating companies. According to Victor Hugo Moreira, CEO of the startup, pilot projects are underway with good results and the expectation is to increase the scope and reach by the end of the year. “Participating in the AutoTech League gave us the opportunity to grow as a startup and as people. Having direct contact with large companies increased our expertise and made us more mature in the business. The AutoTech League opened doors for us”, he says.
