Conference will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th and brings great brands to debate the theme, such as Waze, iFood, IBM, ToTvs, EY, Nestlé, Natura, Visa, Isobar and Singularity University

São Paulo, September 18, 2020 - The 10th edition of ABES Software Conference Rethink, Refresh, Restart: How to reposition business today, while creating the future, one of the most important and awaited conferences in the sector, is coming. Held by ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies on September 28, 29 and 30, in partnership with The Shift, the event will present several national and international experts to discuss the repositioning of businesses and the acceleration of digital transformation in the face of the pandemic .

During the 3 days of the conference, the guests will analyze and debate how the transformation does not happen without understanding the consumer; corporate culture and disruption of the work model; whether companies are uncertainty-proof; what we can learn about digital transformation from startups; how data dictates the road map and digital platforms and ecosystems.

The first day will focus on the consumer and the changes that consumption is going through. With the REThink motto, participants will show the need to stop and rethink the entire business and the need to digitally remodel it based on the understanding of who the company serves today and who it wants to serve in the future.

For Thales Teixeira, Harvard professor, founder of Decoupling.co and author of the book "Unlocking the Customer Value", the pandemic accelerated the urgency of a digital transformation in all companies, regardless of size, sector or geography. "But most of the digital transformations of companies will speak without the total and unconditional focus on the new needs of customers", explains the author who will be featured on the first day of the event, September 28th.

The next day, the theme will be REfresh and will point to the need to change the entire corporate culture and the search for a closer relationship with startups and innovation ecosystems. It will be presented how companies can change the way businesses and strategies are set up to generate revenue from digital models, for example.

Nick Davis, from Singularity University and author of the book "Future Ready", is one of the speakers confirmed on September 30 and says that organizations that are focused on preparing for the future are those that are able to navigate the current and future crisis with greatest success. "This is because they understand the need to develop a strategy focused on the future that is not driven by short-term planning, but a long-term vision that takes advantage of the fast pace of change as a competitive advantage. The future will be faster, and we must all be. This means investing now in developing the speed necessary for adaptation, leading to rupture and developing tomorrow's leaders ", adds the expert.

In this third and last day of the conference, the term REstart will be present in the presentations representing the continuous restart process that is required by the disruptive scenario. Every day companies need to think about how they can remain relevant in the market and, for that, a culture focused on the intensive use of data and a work model that increasingly passes through ecosystems and platforms is necessary.

The 2020 edition of the ABES Software Conference will be completely online and will also include the participation of Hila Roth, from Waze; Luiz Sergio Vieira, from EY Brasil; Agenor Leão, from Natura; Camila Pupo and Eduardo Neubern from Totvs; Bruno Henriques, from iFood; Itali Pedroni Collini, from 500 startups Brasil; Marcelo Salim and Marcelo Braga, from IBM; Edson Rigonatti, from Astella; Silvio Meira, from The Digital Strategy Company; Jon Reily of Dentsu Commerce; Diogo Costa, from Enap; Carolina Sevciuc, from Nestlé; Ana Leão, from Isobar; Alan Leite from Startup Farm; Daniel Bermagasco, author of the book "From the idea to the billion"; Orlando Cintra, from BR Angels; Percival Jatobá, Vice President of Visa; Ricardo Brandão, CEO SkyOne.
