ITS opens registration for Movimat 2015 Innovation Space

Innovative solutions aimed at the logistics sector will be presented

 
In keeping with the strategy of increasing participation in major fairs in different sectors, the Software Technology Institute – ITS (www.its.org.br) will participate for the first time in Movimat, the International Logistics Chain Exhibition, which will be held from 15 to September 17, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo. ITS will take to the event Espaço Inovação, a collective stand with startups from the logistics market, chosen on the merits of their innovative products and services, with the mission of stimulating technological innovation. Registration for companies interested in participating is now open.
 
Movimat is one of the most complete events in the sector, bringing together the entire Latin American logistics chain in one place. Transport and logistics providers will have access to large buyers in the industry, distribution, wholesale, retail and e-commerce, presenting the most modern integrated solutions that will provide the optimization of product costs.
 
“The Innovation Space’s main feature is to bring together innovative solutions in a single place, with the aim of promoting the approximation of SMEs and entrepreneurs, becoming a reference for supporting the acceleration and development of these companies”, says José Vidal Bellinetti Jr, director ITS executive.
 
Movimat will have around 200 exhibiting brands, in 15,000 m² of exhibition area, with an expected visit of more than 30,000 specialized professionals.
 
“Participating in Movimat for the first time will provide ITS with the opportunity to contribute to the development of technological solutions for startups in the logistics sector, in addition to offering exposure and competitiveness to the businesses of these companies”, concludes Descartes de Souza Teixeira, president of ITS.
 
How to participate
 
The selection of participating companies will be made after registration by a committee formed by authorities in the IT and business areas. To register and become a potential participant in the Innovation Space, the company must be Brazilian, with mostly national capital; present an innovative solution (hardware, software or service) that is applied to the sector.
 
Furthermore, the solution cannot be owned by another company for which it acts as a representative. Thus, the candidate company must have a solution capable of being presented and/or demonstrated and commercialized at the event.
