The courses are in Technology and Administration, divided into five modalities distributed in the units of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Joinville. IOS is still looking for job opportunities for students who graduated for 3 years

The Instituto da Oportunidade Social – IOS has just opened registration for six professional training courses, totally free, aimed at young people aged between 15 and 29, according to the course, and people with disabilities over 16 years old, with no age limit. It is necessary that they are attending or have already completed high school in the public network. The courses are biannual and no prior knowledge is required. Applications are due until 01/08 and must be carried out on the IOS website (click here).

are more than 1.100 vacancies distributed by 11 service units of the IOS in Greater São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Joinville. The course content includes administrative concepts with practical classes in management software, Portuguese and Mathematics, Employability, Citizenship and Behavior (Soft Skills).

The differential of the IOS courses is to bring to students concepts and practices of corporate experience, so that they learn to elaborate from e-mails, presentations, participate in meetings, have a vision of the business to even develop a product briefing.

The courses

Business management -training professionals to work in administrative areas. The course has a face-to-face format at the units of São Paulo (Itaquera and Santana), Barueri (15 to 17 years old) and Diadema. Also in Belo Horizonte for young people from 15 to 29 years old and Rio de Janeiro, in Realengo, (15 to 24 years old).

O The course is also available in the 100% format online at the Santana unit for young people aged 15 to 29.

Digital Fluency –form professionals able to develop tasks that use information technology as the main tool, as well as having knowledge of agile methodologies and their applications. The course is in a face-to-face format, available at the units in São Paulo: in Santana (15 to 29 years old), Jardim Ângela (15 to 17 years old) and Rio de Janeiro (15 to 24 years old).

Web Programming —it trains professionals able to develop websites, having full conditions to learn new languages and develop even more in the profession. Available for young people aged between 15 and 29, in the face-to-face format, at the units in São Paulo (Santana and Santo Amaro) and Joinville (SC).

Technology and Digital Culture —It trains professionals to work with programming, use of software, communication, social networks and artistic expressions. Available for young people aged 16 to 29 at the São Paulo units (Santana and Jd. Ângela).

IT support

The contents of technology, computing, operating systems, installations and repairs are covered in this training. The contents of communication and expression, mathematical calculation, behavior, citizenship and employability are included in the training. The course is in a face-to-face format and is available to young people aged 15 to 29 at the Santana unit, in São Paulo, and to young people aged 15 to 24 at the Rio de Janeiro unit, in Realengo.

At the end of the courses, graduated students can participate in the IOS Opportunities Program, which searches during 3 years after the student's formation, job vacancies mainly among the partner companies of the institution, in addition to vacancies for university education in partner institutions of the organization.

IOS has already trained more than 42 thousand professionals for the Information Technology, Administration, HR and Customer Service sectors, and has helped to employ around 70% of this total, increasing the income of these families by up to 54%.
