Evolution of the number of people with access, in millions – work and households – Brazil – August 2009 to August 2012
Most of the growth in internet access in Brazil takes place in homes. The total number of people with access at home reached 67.8 million, or 17% in one year and 41% in two years.
Compared to other countries tracked by the Nielsen Online survey, Brazil continues to register the greatest expansion in home internet access.

As of August 2010, 17% of people with home access had connections with a capacity greater than 2MB. Two years later, around 45% already have this type of connection. That is, Brazilians have access to higher speed and quality connections.
