Participants will be able to visit demonstration areas and learn about innovations created in Brazil. They are applications based on Intel technology, for Android, games, and Perceptual Computing. In the technical sessions, topics such as high-performance software, Android, Java, User Experience (UX), Windows, HTML5, technologies for education and business opportunities will be addressed.
“Intel has strongly supported the Brazilian software industry, which has been showing impressive growth over the last few years”, emphasizes Nuno Simões, director of Intel's Software and Services Group in Latin America. "Intel wants to be a partner to train local developers, providing information and high-level qualification for Brazilian professionals, so that they stand out in the world market".
Demonstration areas with Brazilian technology
In the demonstration areas, it will be possible to learn about various applications created by Brazilian companies using technology. There are three distinct areas focused on segments that have been growing rapidly in the country: for the Android operating system, games and Intel Perceptual Computing technology.
It will also be possible to see the 10 finalist applications for the Intel Perceptual Challenge Brasil, a competition held by Intel Brasil for software developers committed to creating the next generation of interactive interfaces. The grand finale of the contest takes place on the second day of Intel Software Day, when the winner will be announced.
