Intel US is promoting an international competition in search of applications based on RealSense technology, that break the barriers of interaction between man and machine, and Brazil is among the countries that may have registered competitors.

RealSense technology allows new modes of interaction in games, entertainment and content production. With high-resolution cameras, depth sensors and microphone arrays, PCs and tablets are able to offer more intuitive and immersive interaction through facial analysis, hand and finger tracking, voice recognition, background subtraction and augmented reality.

The first phase of the contest, in which participants submit their project ideas, is now open for applications. They can be held until October 1, 2014. To learn more about RealSense, click here.
