Intel has announced David González as its new general manager for operations in Brazil. The executive has more than 16 years of experience in the company, having held several leadership positions in Brazil, Latin America and globally. His previous role was Territory Director for the Northern Cone of South America, Central America and the Caribbean. González has also held positions in sales, marketing and channel and served as Chief of Staff to Sean Maloney, Intel's Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
 
During his career at Intel, González has also managed corporate account groups, held strategic positions in the channel areas, specifically targeting the markets of Brazil and Mexico, worked directly in the marketing area for Latin America and led global sales and Marketing, California, USA.
 
Graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá, the executive has a specialization in Applied Mathematics from the Sergio Arboleda University, in addition to having training in Leadership Development, Strategic Marketing, Negotiation, Digital Marketing, Big Data and Analytics from Harvard Business. School in the USA.
