Award includes R$ 900 thousand and participation in international mission

Companies from all over Brazil have until October 31 to participate in the 2013 National Innovation Award. Entries must be made only on the Award website. Winners can compete for R$ 900 thousand pre-approved in the SENAI SESI Innovation Call, in addition to participating in international technical missions and executive education courses.

The Award is an initiative of Business Mobilization for Innovation (MEI), carried out by CNI and Sebrae. It has the support of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), SENAI, Competitive Brazil Movement (MBC), FINEP and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. In 2011, there were 427 applications. Last year this number reached 981 subscribers, an increase of 129%.

“In addition to strengthening innovation in large companies, the Award also wants to encourage micro, small and medium-sized companies. Because the company that does not innovate loses competitiveness. And there is no strong country without a strong industry ”, he highlights
Rodrigo Teixeira, Innovation Promotion Manager at the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL).
