ABES will organize the second class of 2024 of General Data Protection Law Training: Introduction and Best Practices“, as part of its efforts to strengthen the culture of personal data protection in the country. Free and exclusive training for member representatives will take place in April 12th, from 8am to 12pm, online and live, providing a practical and interactive experience for participants.

The training will cover the main aspects of the LGPD (Law 13,709/18) and will ensure that employees and representatives of associated companies understand how the legislation affects their daily work activities. ABES Legal Consultant and training coordinator, Thomaz Côrte Real, highlighted that “we will provide guidance on security measures and fundamental good practices to comply with the law”.

The 4-hour program aims to empower participants to implement best practices regarding the handling of personal data, strengthening public trust and avoiding legal sanctions. “We hope that this specialized training will contribute to more appropriate processing of personal data in companies and to changing processes that put privacy protection at risk”, concluded Thomaz.
