Applications open for the Best of Innovation Award

 

The prize "The Best of Innovation” is an initiative of the CRIA (Reference Committee on Applied Innovation), formed by the Bridge Group, the Brazilian Association of Non-Destructive Inspection Tests (Abendi) and by Gestiona, which aims to promote the discussion of innovation from the perspective of everyday life and recognize the professionals who managed to efficiently implement an innovation applied in their daily work.
 
Innovation applied in everyday life refers to the use of theory and analysis of innovation elements. Celso Braga, one of the creators of the Award, explains that elements are ideas and actions that generate results for the business on a daily basis in search of greater competitiveness. “At any moment, an innovation applied in everyday life can arise. For this, people need to be motivated to exercise this capacity, explore all the possibilities and share with their managers these insights. That's why we created the Award”, he adds.
 
The projects submitted must be (or have been) in operation for at least six months and will be analyzed for tangible financial results and intangible results (improvement in the organizational climate, process optimization, brand appreciation, etc.) for the environment where it was developed; and social impact outcomes (benefits for society, environment, community, etc.).
 
Along with the registration form, participants must send a video of up to 1 minute and 30 seconds presenting the main idea of the project, its impacts and those involved. The deadline is March 31, 2016.
 
The Evaluation Committee will be composed of members of the organizing committee, specialist members of the organizing companies and/or innovation market specialists. Prizes will be awarded to the three best projects of innovation initiative applied in everyday life.
 
The award ceremony for the winners will take place on May 20, 2016, at Millenium Eventos, in São Paulo.
