Until July 31st, registrations are open for the second selection process of the 2024 PROA Platform free course, which has 15 thousand places for young people in the State of São Paulo. The vacancies are intended for students who are finishing or have completed high school in public schools.
To participate, simply register at site, answer a basic Portuguese language, mathematics and profile analysis test, and, if approved, the candidate must proceed to the stage of filling out personal data and enrolling in the course.
“Around 85% of young people get a job after completing the course that qualifies the student to enter the job market prepared”, says Alini Dal'Magro, CEO of Instituto PROA.
The PROA course, which will start on September 2nd, has a workload of 100 hours and is divided into 4 modules that prepare students to define professional goals and do well in job interviews: Self-knowledge, Professional Project, Logical Reasoning and Communication. There are also weekly live meetings mediated by tutors.
Young people can choose to take a 5th module with a specific technical track. There are 8 careers to choose from, sponsored by large companies, with 50 hours of preparation for each: Administration (P&G), Logistics (P&G), Excel and Power BI (Microsoft), Retail (Fundação Casas Bahia), UX Design (Accenture), Brand Promotion (BRF), Financial Education (Bloomberg + Dahlia Capital) and Customer Service (IMFG + BMG Group).
At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate of completion and access to an exclusive job vacancy platform.
Job market
One of the examples of success is former student Samuel Lopes Cabral, aged 20, who discovered the PROA Platform through a TV report and took the course in 2023. “I learned everything from creating a CV to improving my communication, it was a unique experience and today I feel more confident professionally”, says the young man, who after the course and with the help of PROA, is employed as an administrative assistant at the Casas Bahia Group.
About the PROA Institute
