In times of pandemic, cybercriminals have intensified their actions, with intensive distribution of malicious spam, exploiting people's interest and curiosity for information about Covid-19.
According to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), an organization of the United Nations (UN), Brazil occupies 70th place in the cybersecurity index. The most recent data from the ITU, measured over 12 months between 2017 and 2018, indicate that losses from cyber attacks in Brazil have surpassed the US$ 20 billion mark (more than R$ 80 billion).
