In 2019, InovAtiva Brasil, the largest startup acceleration program in the country, starts operating with a new format. The changes were made to give more visibility to startups and increase opportunities to connect with investors and large companies.
 
Carried out by the Ministry of Economy in partnership with the Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE) and carried out by the Fundação Centros de Referência em Tecnologias Innovadoras (CERTI), InovAtiva Brasil has already accelerated more than 840 innovative businesses from all regions of the world. parents.
 
From now on, the acceleration cycle will last 3 months and two editions will be held a year, with up to 125 accelerated startups per cycle. Rafael Wandrey, Coordinator of Innovative Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Economy, says that during these years of experience in accelerating startups, it was possible to see that more developed businesses are able to take better advantage of what the program has to offer. “This year we will prioritize faster acceleration and more opportunities for interaction between startups and large companies, aiming to increase the amount of business generated in the program.” explains Wandrey.
 
Natália Bertussi, Startups Coordinator at Sebrae Nacional’s Innovation Unit, says that in 2019 the focus of the program is to present startups that are more prepared for the market. “We are going to generate more visibility, connections and opportunities for startups to do business”, he says.
 
In addition to mentoring and connecting with investors and large companies, startups accelerated in the program receive a series of benefits, such as extra points in the Innovation Notice for Industry; discounts and service packages from partner companies and entities, such as Google, Amazon Web Services, Moskit CRM, Agendor, Pipefy, Contentools, among others.
 
Registrations
 
Applications for the first cycle of 2019, which will be held from March to July, are now open. Between February 11 and March 11, startups that are already making their first sales or that already have a growing user base will be able to register on the website https://www.inovativabrasil.com.br/. The result will be announced on April 15th.
