Inmetro, in an ordinance published on June 4, approved the "Methodology for the Evaluation of Services - Servir System", which will be used by citizens in evaluating the quality of service provided by commerce and service establishments, as well as by public bodies , in different sectors.
 
The approval is a result of the Technical Cooperation Agreement between Inmetro and the Department of Commerce and Services, of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (SCS/MDIC), “for the development, design and implementation of the quality assessment process of services rendered to society”, according to the ordinance.
 
The Servir System aims to evaluate, recognize and highlight the best practices of the services provided. According to the text, a management committee, composed of SCS/MDIC and Inmetro, will establish the guidelines and monitor and analyze the results to improve the program.
