Ingram Micro Brasil, a subsidiary of the global technology distributor and global reference in the IT supply chain, announced a distribution agreement with Plantronics and now offers its resellers in Brazil the headsets portfolio of the global leader in audio solutions. Initially, Ingram Micro's focus will be on Plantronics solutions and launches for the corporate market, a portfolio that meets the communication needs of small and medium-sized companies, multinationals and call center giants.
 
“With the convergence of traditional voice solutions to the IP world, the demand for wired and wireless headsets is growing rapidly, both in call center positions and in the administrative environment. In addition, we have more and more companies supporting and encouraging remote work ”, says Alexandre Nakano, Director of IoT Business at Ingram Micro Brasil, justifying the importance of having the Plantronics product line in the portfolio. At the same time, Alexandre points out, this partnership meets the resellers' desire to find and centralize their demands in a single distributor. “Plantonics' solutions adhere to many projects and market requests and fit perfectly with our cross selling strategy”, he explains.
 
Ingram Micro's cross selling possibilities and capillarity are also highlighted by Plantronics. “Ingram Micro Brasil will help us reach hundreds and thousands of channels on which we are not currently active and allow offers in conjunction with other voice, software and collaboration solutions”, says Vera Thomaz, Senior Territory Manager at Plantronics .
 
According to her, Ingram Micro is a strategic distributor for Plantronics around the world, and in Brazil, the expectation is also to win new channels and users. “We are a company with operations on all continents and having a partner with the same characteristics of global positioning, synergy in the development of the potential of verticals as unified communications, for example, is fundamental to our success”, evaluates Vera.

In addition to the Plantronics solutions for the business market already available by Ingram Micro for its network of more than 10,000 channels, the distributor is studying a model for marketing products for personal use. “The market for call center positions where Plantronics is the leader remains our focus, but unified communications projects, with the offer of wireless solutions for conferencing and personal use, are on the radar and may even have a team from Ingram Micro dedicated to supporting resellers ”, completes the IoT Business Director at Ingram Micro Brasil.
